And can Miller let go of the feelings for Stella he’s held onto for years? In love and basketball, it’s five fouls and you’re out, and every play counts.
“Things that inspire you that have nothing to do with writing”
Inspiration can stem from many places, and for me, it’s a multifaceted piece.
Travel has to be at the top of my list. There’s nothing better than exploring a new place and culture. I love to see the cliché tourist hot spots, but after that, I want to delve into the local scene. To me, there’s nothing better than going to New York, London, etc. and blending so well that people ask you for directions or offer you election handouts. That’s when you know you’re getting the real experience of that locale! From San Francisco to Cadiz, Kentucky, there’s so much to take in and see!
Beyond travel, I’m inspired by my son. He’s only one and a half right now, but he’s taught me so much in that short period of time. His arrival brought a new understanding of love, patience, and learning. He makes me what to be the best version of myself, and I want to show him that anything is possible if you set your mind and efforts to it.
Finally, I’m inspired by the amazing women in my life. My mom and grandmother are fiercely independent, yet they are two of the most kind and giving people you will ever meet. In addition, my girl gang is beyond words. Their talent, intelligence, and creativity will forever propel me forward.
